Introduction to INI CET

If you’re planning to take a postgraduate medical course this year, the clock is ticking. The registration for INI CET 2025 ends today (October 21, 2025).

This exam opens the door to MD, MS, MDS, DM and MCh programmes at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and other affiliated institutions.

Here’s a clear breakdown of how to apply, what documents you’ll need and what happens next. (Yes — last-minute rush, so let’s get it sorted.)

AIIMS INai Cet

Why this is Important For Now

  1. INI CET acts as a central gateway for many postgraduate medical seats — meaning registration isn’t just a formality.
  2. Missing the deadline means you’ll likely have to wait for the next session and risk losing your preferred discipline/institution.
  3. Proper submission (with documents, payment, etc.) means you avoid later surprises (rejection, delays, correction windows).

How to apply: Step-by-step

1. Visit the official website: aiimsexams.ac.in.

2. Create a new registration account: enter name, date of birth, gender, nationality, e-mail ID, mobile number.

3. You’ll receive a Registration ID + password via e-mail.

4. Generate the “Exam Unique Code (EUC)” — this is mandatory to proceed with final submission.

5. Fill the full application form: academic details, preferred exam centres, upload required documents.

6. Pay the application fee online. Here are the fee details:

  • ₹4,000 for General/EWS/OBC candidates
  • ₹3,200 for SC/ST/PwD candidates
Payment modes: net-banking, debit/credit card, UPI.

7. Review everything (form entries + document uploads + fee payment) and submit before the deadline.

Documents required (To upload)

You’ll need to keep certain documents ready in the correct format. The major ones:

  1. Passport-sized photo (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm, 50–100 KB)
  2. Signature image (20–100 KB)
  3. Left thumb impression (20–100 KB, 200 DPI)
  4. For OBC (NCL) candidates: valid certificate issued between April 1, 2025 and October 21, 2025.
  5. For PwD (benchmark disability ≥ 40 %): disability certificate.
  6. For Sponsored candidates: sponsorship certificate ready.

Note: Educational qualification certificates are not required at the registration stage — these will be verified later during admission.

Final tips (so you Don't miss Anything)

  1. Double-check the file sizes and formats for uploads — a mismatched file size or resolution can get your application rejected.

  3. Make sure your contact info (mobile + e-mail) are active and correct — the EUC and other communications will come here.
  4. Save copies (screenshots or PDFs) of your completed application, payment confirmation, etc.
  5. After submission, mark the correction window dates (Oct 24-26) — in case you need to fix something.
