The Karnataka 2nd Pre - University Course (PUC) exams are an important milestone for the students of the state since it decides their eligibility towards higher education and professional courses all across the state. The academic session of 2025 also brought in a few changes like altering the exam format to a three level examination system with the intent of improving the student’s outcomes and giving multiple chances for achieving success.


🗓️ Karnataka 2nd PUC 2025:

Schedule of Examinations and Specific Dates Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) conducted the 2nd PUC exams in three tiers:

#Examination Phase 1: From 1st March, 2025 to 19th March 2025.

#Examination Phase 2 (Supplementary): From 24th April till 8th May, 2025.

#Examination Phase 3: By June, 2025.

This tri fold examination pattern allows students to maximize their scores whilst alleviating stress levels associated with a single attempt.

Exam Structure and Distribution of Marks:

A common 2025 2nd PUC exam template was used across all subjects with:

Theory Papers: Generally given 80 marks. Internal Assessment/Practicals: 20 affiliated marks.

For the scientific disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, the theory portion received 70 marks whereas 30 were allotted for the practical part.
